PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

We met on Friday at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church and on Saturday at the Embassy Suites Hotel;
We opened with the keynote by Rev. Kachipapa.  Among other things, he talked about "a team assembled
by Christ, equipped by Christ and sent by Christ to fulfill his agenda."

Later we were introduced to Cheryl Barnes, the newly hired Mission Co-Worker for Education in Malawi, working
with CCAP. This position was initiated with the help of the MMN at previous conferences.  We are excited
to have her beginning her work soon.

Friday evening we enjoyed a traditional Malawian dinner catered by a local chef.

Saturday, we heard the keynote by Rev. Mbawa who enlightened us more details about the General Assembly
which many of us were previously only vaguely familiar.  In total, it includes 91 Presbyteries, with 1164 Congregations
6194 Prayer Houses and over 4 million members. With all of these worship places, there are only 720 ministers.

We spent much of the day choosing from several interesting Workshops and interest groups.
We did not make a decision on the next conference location but Colorado is the leading option.

All seemed to agree this was one of the best conferences for several years.
