2015 Face-to-Face Meeting

While many objectives of the Network can be achieved with the WEB site and mailing list, nothing can really replace a Face-to-Face meeting to help generate understanding, camaraderie, and encourage sharing.  The Malawi Mission Network was first formed at a Face-to-Face meeting in August, 2003 near Louisville, KY.  We had approximately 30 people at the meeting and we shared what we were all doing and were gladdened to see how much we all had in common but also how much we could learn from each other. Everyone felt this was an extremely valuable opportunity and they wanted to do it again.  Since then the meetings have been growing and improving every year.   

As valuable and interesting as the formal presentations are, probably the most valuable part of the Meeting is the chance to meet and network with others with the same interests as you, and likely very different experiences from which both can learn.

We  have lined up an exciting program for this conference.   We are excited to have Rev.  Vasco Kachipapa,  who is General Secretary of the CCAP Nkhoma Synod, as our Keynote Speaker.

Registration deadline is July 6th, 2015.  After that, if space is still available, you may be accommodated (at a higher fee) but you may not get your first choice of room assignments - so register early. After July 17th - only Commuter Registration will be available at all.

LOCATIONS:
While most of the meeting will be at the VisTaTech Center, housing will be at the Hampton Inn in Northville, MI and the gathering location for the first day, Thursday, Aug. 6th will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, MI. These 3 locations are all relatively close to each other. We will have free shuttles between these locations as needed.  If you have your own car there, you are free to drive back and forth as there is plenty of parking at all locations.  For those that are flying in, or for anyone else wanting to use it, we will have shuttles available. We will have free shuttles available from the Detroit Metro Airport and you will be contacted after you register.
