Rev. Joseph Mwale - Keynote Speaker for 2013

Pastor Joseph Mwale greetings and the Word of God to Malawi Mission Network.

 

Reverend Joseph Mwale will address the Malawi Mission Network (PCUSA), as the keynote speaker for its annual meeting at Kellogg West Conference Center, in Pomona, California, from August 15-18, 2013. For additional information or to register for the conference, See the Conference Description here.

Rev. Mwale will be giving the keynote address for the conference, serving on several panels and leading the worship for the assembled Presbyterians who support mission and ministry of the Church of Central Africa, Presbyterian in Malawi, Africa.

Rev. Joseph Mwale Joseph Mwale attended secondary school in  the Nkhota Kota District in the Northern Region. He is married with 3 children.

From 1988 to 1991 Joseph attended the University of Malawi  to earn his Diploma in Theology and 1993 to 1995 to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Theology.  He later earned his Master of Theology from the University of Glasgow, Scotland in 2004.

He served as Parish Minister in a series of 5 parishes between 1991 and 2006 as well as a time as head of station at Loudon Mission (Embangweni).
 

Joseph has held positions of Lecturer at the Livingstonia College of Theology, the Zambezi College of Ministry, Zomba Theological College and Kamungu Anglican Theological College.  He was also Dean of Students and then Vice Principal at Zomba Theological College.

In August 2012, Reverend Joseph Mwale was installed as Deputy General Secretary of the Livingstonia Synod, Church of Central Africa Presbyterian.

Before  the Network Conference Rev. Mwale will visit Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC, First Presbyterian Church of Watertown, NY, and First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson City, MO.

Joseph is looking forward to visiting the supporting churches in the USA  and to  share the message of God's joy and love with those at the conference.
